She is the Sun

She is the sun

Her warmth, her light

The feel of heat that

I yearn for late in the night

She brightens the day and

Within the distance of her smile

A feeling of love radiates

Upon my skin for a while

Undoubting, never changing

She gleams around me

Blessing throughout the day

Patient and unceasingly

Even when storms may arise

Dark clouds covering the light

Her heart never changes, the

Warmth can be felt without sight

She is the sun

Her radiance, her splendor

I yet desire to grow strong

Beneath her gleaming pleasure

Like the green earth craves

The warmth of a star

As do I, hope and desire

Such a feeling from afar

However the distance that

Lies between, it matters not

Her fire, her essence, will always

Be felt and forever sought

She is the sun.
